Soul Medical Transport LLC was founded by Nina Burdett, a masters-prepared registered nurse with more than 17 years of clinical experience across some of Georgia's most respected healthcare systems — including Grady Memorial Trauma Center, Emory Healthcare, and Northside Hospital.
Nina's background in emergency medicine has given her a firsthand understanding of what patients with complex medical needs require — and what happens when reliable transportation breaks down. She has seen preventable readmissions, missed follow-up appointments, and interrupted treatment plans that trace directly back to transportation failure. Soul Medical Transport exists to close that gap.
Nina has completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Public Health and Education, and is currently pursuing her Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification, expected May 2027. She also co-founded a Top 5 Better Businesses-rated medical spa in Alpharetta, Georgia, where the same standards of personalized, high-touch service she brings to Soul Medical Transport have earned consistent recognition for excellence.
